Who is the king of the hill between the V8 sport sedans.  Would you pick the BMW 550i?  Maybe you’d go for the Mercedes-Benz e550, or perhaps the Jaguar XF 5.0.  All are stylish luxury sedans, but how do they handle and perform?  Do you loose the enthusiast if you build too much comfort and effortless performance?

The BMW 5 series has aged well, and the BMW 550i remains the choice for canyon carvers and has been largely regarded as the benchmark among sporting luxury sedans.  The 550i’s reputation remains consistenly impressive, no small feat for a car that has been around for over five years.
